The Mystery is two-fold 

#1. The Gentiles coming into blessings in Christ / Ephesians 3:1-6 /

#2 The Jews and Gentiles coming together in one body

The three main ethnics are the chosen nation Israel 

The New Ethnic / Greek work Ekklesia two words 

EK =out of / KALEO=means to call 

Ekklesia means the called-out ones, the nation of Israel (Acts7:38) and the body of Christ (Hebrews 12:23/ Revelation 1:11

Abraham was called out of Ur of the Chaldees, out of Babylon 

Genesis 12:1, Hebrews 11:8

Israel was called out of Egypt; they were called to be a peculiar treasure to God, a chosen and holy nation unto the Lord, the church in the wilderness

Acts 7:38

The house of Judah was called out of Babylon unto restoration of the temple of Jerusalem

The New-testament church is called out of every kindred tongue tribe and nation to be his church Revelation 18:1-4, 2Corinthians 6:14-18 Revelation 5:9 Hosea 11:1

Being called out of darkness into light (1Peter 2:9)

Being called to a Holy calling (2Timothy 1:9)

Being called to a heavenly calling (Hebrews 3:1)
